Do you take insurance?

-Not at this time. I offer a sliding scale for fees.

What are your credentials?

-I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, No. 5918

I have a Masters of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from San Diego State University (2015).

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Social Psychology from University of Maryland (2007).

I am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with a concentration in Vocational counseling.

Do you charge for initial consultation?

-Yes. I charge the standard fee.

Are you available for emergencies?

-I have a phone number that can be reached 24 hours per day, however I advise individuals to contact emergency crisis line during non-working hours.

Do you focus on a specific modality?

-No. Strong clinicians are well-rounded, familiar with a multitude of intervention styles and I offer a unique and independent approach with each individual I support.

What can I expect in a session?

-I foster a non-judgmental space and will challenge you to push yourself out of your comfort zone. I assign Therapeutic tasks and reflective assignments in order to help you maintain a sense of progress. My goal with every session, is to help you gain more control of your life. Reflective writing assignments provide a foundation for our sessions and cultivate empowerment in you. In therapy, if your emotions are uncomfortable, then it’s working!
